7/8 Choir7/8 Choir currently meets during 1st hour. This class is a 9 week class that part of the required rotation circuit for 7th and 8th grade students. Students will spend 9 weeks learning basic vocal technique, audiation skills, and performance etiquette. Each group will showcase what they have learned in a concert at the end of each quarter. Performances range anywhere from singing, bucket drumming, and kazoo playing!

Advanced ChoirStarting freshman year, students can enroll in advanced choir at the discretion of the director. Younger students may participate in the advanced choir by auditioning for the group. The Advanced Choir performs at the end of each quarter, performing the 7/8 Choir repertoire along with additional pieces. Advanced Choir techniques focus on strengthening audiation skills, implementing the use of solfege in learning new repertoire and sight-singing, performing advanced arrangements, and a Capella singing. This group also participates in special performances and events such as All-Region Choir, Choral Performance Assessment, Solo & Ensemble, Christmas Caroling, Living Windows, Tour D'Art, basketball games, and senior recognition.
